Onondaga County update: Cause for concern: Two more deaths and 53 new cases of coronavirus were reported Sunday by Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon. The statistics showed a troubling trend: Community contact cases have ticked up in recent days. “We’re kind of going backward,” McMahon said. “We should be concerned.”
NY, 6 other states team up for purchases: Seven northeast states will join together to purchase medical equipment and testing supplies to help with reopening in the coronavirus pandemic.
McMahon: Stop the garage sales: Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon understands that folks want to have garage sales. People, stuck in their homes for weeks because of coronavirus, are doing their spring cleaning and want to get rid of things. But it’s potentially dangerous, he warned. “You put that many people together, looking at things, touching things,” he said. “It’s a bad idea.” Moreover, it’s illegal.
