Child hit by car at bus stop - WSAZ

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Deputies are responding to a call of a child being hit by a car at a bus stop.

It happened in the West Side community, near St. Albans a little before 7:30 Thursday morning.

According to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, the child was crouched down waiting on the bus when the accident happened.

Deputies say the 9-year-old has a leg injury.

The sheriff’s office is asking anyone in the area with a security camera that could have captured the moment to contact them.
