BRIDGEPORT — Police said they seized vials of crack cocaine, folds of heroin and fentanyl and other drugs after pulling over a vehicle Monday.
Officers conducted the motor vehicle stop near Wood Avenue after seeing motor vehicle law violations, the department said in a Facebook post Tuesday. While investigating, police said they found that the driver, identified as 30-year-old Lester Vereen, possessed crack cocaine.
In all, officers seized 30 grams of crack cocaine — much of which was packaged in 71 vials — 29 folds of heroin/fentanyl and four ecstasy pills, according to police.
Vereen was charged with tampering with physical evidence, a traffic control signal violation and possession with intent to sell or dispense narcotics. His bond was set at $40,000, police said.
