Righthander Jose Urquidy will get the Game 2 start for the Astros on Wednesday afternoon in a potentially clinching American League wild card series game against the Twins at Target Field.
Astros manager Dusty Baker is expected to use Urquidy and righthander Cristian Javier in a potential “piggyback" scenario similar to his use of Zack Greinke and Framber Valdez in Houston’s 4-1 Game 1 win on Tuesday.
Greinke started the game but was lifted after four innings as the Astros went with Valdez for the game’s final five innings.
Jose Berrios will start for the Twins in the noon start, which will air on ESPN2.
