Chris Anderson of EerSports is reporting that Oklahoma State starting quarterback Spencer Sanders might not start for the Cowboys against West Virginia this afternoon.
Multiple sources tell @EerSportsDotCom that #WVU could see multiple QBs today. Sophomore Spencer Sanders dressed and available, but Shane Illingworth expected to get the start.

Anderson reports Sanders could still play today, but true freshman Shane Illingworth, who closed out OSU’s game against Tulsa last week, could get the start. Sanders has been seen warming up at Boone Pickins Stadium prior to the start of the game.

OSU head coach Mike Gundy said on Monday that Sanders would be out of his medical boot and re-evaluated Tuesday. WVU head coach Neal Brown said the Mountaineers prepared for Sanders to play but also spent some time this week evaluating OSU’s backups.
WVU and OSU kick off at 3:30 p.m. this afternoon from Stillwater, Oklahoma. The game will be broadcast on ABC, but will switch to ESPNNews around 5 p.m.
