COLUMBUS, Ind. – A Tennessee resident, driving on I-65 with her high-beams illuminated, was arrested on multiple drug-related charges by the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) just before midnight on Tuesday.

Deputies initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle at the 72-mile marker. The driver, Jasmine Carr, 27, of Knoxville, was detained as K-9 Jari alerted to the odor of narcotics inside.

BCSO allegedly found a baggie containing suspected cocaine in the center console and a plastic bag, stuffed between the car’s battery and firewall, which contained approximately 28 grams of cocaine, 120 grams of marijuana, 100 prescription pills, and 50 pressed pills.

Carr was booked for possession of cocaine, maintaining a common nuisance, obstruction of justice, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of marijuana. She is held on a $98,500 bond.
