The Bayonne Board of Education will partner with Hudson County One-Stop Career Center to host a Career and Job Expo, announced Superintendent of Schools John Niesz and Board of Education President Maria Valado.
The event will be held at the Bayonne High School Korpi Ice Rink Gym on Wednesday, April 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. The goal is to afford Bayonne High School students and community members an opportunity to network and explore job opportunities that may be available to them.
Students may also be recruited to assist with seasonal positions. Over fifty vendors will be available and walk-ins are encouraged.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for our graduates and community members to network and take advantage of short term jobs that may lead to long term positions or careers,” Niesz said. “I look forward to this partnership with the County One Stop Career Center, Hudson County Schools of Technology, and the City of Bayonne for creating another successful event!”
