Vehicle runs stop sign, crashes into Peoria police squad car - Heart of Illinois ABC

PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - Police say minor injuries were reported after a vehicle ran a stop sign and crashed into a Peoria Police squad car early Saturday morning.

The accident happened at 1:48 a.m. at the corner of Knoxville and Frye avenues.

Peoria Police public information officer Semone Roth said only minor injuries were reported and the driver of the vehicle was cited for running a stop sign.
