Two Virginia women are facing multiple drug charges after they were arrested in Kill Devil Hills on Thursday evening.
According to a Dare County Sheriff’s Office news release, deputies working the A-District on April 7th conducted a stop for a traffic violation near the 1900 block of Colington Road at approximately 11:30 pm.
During the stop, the deputies checks showed that the passenger had outstanding warrants. An undisclosed amount of cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were seized.
Karena Lashea Harris, 31, of Newport News, VA, was charged with (F) Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance, (M) Possession of Marijuana, (M) Possessions of Drug and Marijuana Paraphernalia and (M) Driving while license revoked. Harris is still in custody on a $8,000 secured bond.
Kla Che Jordan, 38, of Portsmouth, VA, was charged with (F) Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, (M) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and (M) FTA Warrants for Speeding and DWLR. Jordan is still in custody on a $7,000 secured bond.
