For drivers along Interstate 10 to and from Louisiana, The Best Stop is a can't-miss destination. And soon it'll be the same for anybody commuting on Katy Fort Bend Road.
The small country store known for its delicious Cajun food will be expanding to Katy this year, according to The Best Stop's Facebook page.
"Howdy Texas! We are pleased to announce that the location of the Katy franchise has been selected. In a few short months, Hot Boudin will be available to you at 806 Katy Fort Bend Road. Stay tuned for updates and we will see you soon!" the post reads.
SUBURBS: In-N-Out to open second Cypress location, permit filing shows
The Best Stop officially opened on November 1, 1986, in Scott, Louisiana. Since then, it's created a bit of a love affair between customers and its assortment of boudin, cracklins and specialty meats.
Katy has been seeing a surge of new places to eat, drink and play in recent years, including, most recently, Paris Baguette. And there's more on the way; check out our list of the most exciting restaurants opening in 2023.
