The following list includes recent reports from the Midland County Sheriff’s Office and the Midland Police Department. Compiled by reporter Tereasa Nims.

10:11 p.m. - Deputies conducted a traffic stop at a Warren Township location. Deputies contacted the 65-year-old female driver. It was discovered that the vehicle didn't have insurance. The driver was issued a citation. A report is being sent to the prosecutor.

8:35 p.m. - Deputies were dispatched to a Jerome Township residence regarding a verbal dispute between an 89-year-old woman and her 57-year-old son. The woman was upset that her son was intoxicated and she requested deputies to tell her son to stop drinking and arguing with her. The man was advised to stop talking to his mother for the evening. The woman was also advised to evict her son if she wanted to. No assault occurred.

8:20 p.m. - Deputies spoke with a 35-year-old woman, who stated the staff members at her adult foster care home were withholding her medication. Deputies spoke with a 51-year-old staff member, who stated that the woman was not cleared to take the medication yet.

3:35 p.m. - A Midland County animal control deputy provided a live trap to a home in the City of Midland. The resident was reporting problems with a nuisance animal.

12:16 p.m. - An animal control deputy received a complaint regarding two dogs running loose from a home in Greendale Township. Contact was made with the owner, who was instructed to keep the dogs on his own property. A verbal warning was issued.

10:38 a.m. - Police responded to Eastman Avenue at eastbound US-10 for a traffic offense.

10:14 a.m. - Deputies arrested a 58-year-old Midland man on an outstanding Midland County felony warrant. The man was lodged at the Midland County Jail.

9:30 a.m. - Police were called to Eastman Avenue and Joe Mann Blvd. for a hit-and-run crash.

4:51 a.m. - Deputies spoke to a 50-year-old man who had not slept in several days. The man ultimately decided to go to the emergency room with EMS.

1:28 a.m. - Police responded to the area of Isabella Street and Currie Parkway for a warrant arrest.
