One of the most effective ways to stop the spread of COVID-19 is to get vaccinated. COVID-19 vaccines are covered for all participants in the State of Wisconsin Group Health Insurance Program. To receive a vaccine at an in-network pharmacy anywhere in the U.S., visit this It’s Your Choice page, click on your plan type (one of the three blue buttons), and then use the Pharmacy Search option on the left side navigation. To find a vaccine at your health care provider, call your health plan or your provider’s office.
While the options in every community are different, as per the Wisconsin Department of Health Services there are many places you can go to get your free COVID-19 vaccine. They may include:
- Your local or tribal health department
- Pharmacies
- Community-based vaccination clinics
- Pop-up vaccination clinics at familiar places in your community
- Your doctor or health care provider
