Redshirt-junior quarterback Brycen Mussina threw two first-quarter touchdowns and redshirt-sophomore running back Bill Williams ran for two touchdowns as the Shippensburg University football team posted a 30-9 road victory at Edinboro on Saturday at sunny Sox Harrison Stadium.
Shippensburg (2-0) was playing at Edinboro (0-1) for the first time since 2015 and extended its winning streak over the Fighting Scots to four straight games. SU scored touchdowns on its first two possessions and maintained a 20-6 lead at halftime. It was the 30-6 through three quarters with the final scoring being a late Fighting Scot field goal in the final two minutes.
Shippensburg returns to action at 1 p.m. Saturday at Clarion.
