Has the coronavirus plateaued in Ohio? Possibly. The state has now reported 570,602 cases, resulting in 32,264 hospitalizations and 7,551 deaths. This means 1-in-20 Ohioans is now known to have contracted the virus.

What are the details on Paul Dolan’s plan to find a new name for his Indians baseball team. Dolan told Indians ticket holders that there will be no rush to rename the team. He said this is “phase one of a multi-phase process” that will include the new name and brand development.

What is the former mayor of East Cleveland charged with? Gary Norton his assistant were charged Monday with impeding a federal investigation into bribery and fraud.

When will coronavirus vaccines start in Ohio nursing homes? Friday. Residents and staff of five to ten nursing homes will be the first facilities to receive the vaccine.

Did the Cuyahoga County sheriff do something unprecedented Monday, in his effort to reduce the spread of the coronavirus in the jail. Interim Sheriff David Schilling is releasing dozens of inmates serving misdemeanor sentences or others held on parole violations to help stop the growing spread of the coronavirus in the county jail.

What does the Summit County health director say about the Akron Mayor’s plan to end his ban on small gatherings in peoples’ homes? That restrictions won’t be effective even at a countywide level because the area is too small.
