A 20-year-old man was arrested after police discovered he was allegedly in possession of heroin and cocaine during a traffic stop in Hyde Park Thursday morning, Boston police said.
Christopher Villar-Peralta, of Roxbury, was stopped in the area of 21 Oakcrest St. at 10:03 a.m. because he allegedly matched the description of a suspect who had been involved in a street-level drug transaction, Boston police said in a statement.
Officers conducted a pat and frisk, searched the vehicle, and recovered approximately 134 grams of heroin and 23.4 grams of cocaine packaged for sale, police said. They also recovered an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.
Villar-Peralta is charged with trafficking class A and B drugs, police said. He is scheduled to appear in the West Roxbury division of Boston District Court.
