Rainy start to Friday, then chilly weekend - The Dallas Morning News

Rain showers will move into North Texas Friday morning ahead of an incoming cold front. A few isolated thunderstorms cannot be ruled out. The most likely time for rain in DFW will be 6:00 am through 10:00 am before the rain moves into East Texas.

There will be dry hours from late morning through mid afternoon before a cold front moves into the area. The front may trigger the development of a couple of gusty thunderstorms. All of the rain will be out of the area by mid evening.

The weekend will be chilly. Saturday will be mostly sunny and dry with highs in the 50s. Sunday will be blustery and cold with highs in the 40s with a new round of showers possible.

Next week will be calm and dry, with a temperatures a few degrees below normal.
