UFC 261 start time: When the main card and pay-per-view broadcast begin on Saturday - DraftKings Nation

Saturday’s UFC 261 event should feature a fairly compelling card from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday, April 24th. The five-bout main card will be highlighted at the top with a rematch for the welterweight title between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal.

Usman and Masvidal last fought in July of 2020 on Fight Island in Abu Dhabi, with Usman winning by unanimous decision. But for that fight, Masvidal made a massive weight cut after taking the fight on short notice. But Usman remains a big favorite heading into Saturday night according to the odds at DraftKings Sportsbook.

UFC 261 will get underway at 5:45 p.m. ET with four fights on the early preliminary card on UFC Fight Pass. Once that wraps, the regular preliminary card is scheduled to start 8 p.m. ET. and will air on ESPN and ESPN+. There are currently four fights scheduled for that part of the show.

The main card is currently scheduled to get started at 10 p.m. ET, and will take place on live on ESPN+ PPV. Even if it is delayed, that’s close enough to plan your evening accordingly. And if you only care about the main event between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal, it’s estimated that will start just after midnight ET. That’s 9 p.m. on the west coast, which will give those on the left side people plenty of time to still enjoy a night out after the card.
