Pursuit, Boston/Prospect roads
Brunswick Hills Police and Ohio State Patrol troopers were involved in a multi-jurisdictional pursuit at 2:46 a.m. Aug. 22. Police were able to end the pursuit by placing “stop sticks” on Boston and Prospect roads. The driver came to a stop on James Way, reportedly dragging the stop sticks, which are designed to flatten a vehicle’s tires to end a pursuit. The driver was turned over to the OSP following the stop.
Criminal mischief, Roxanne Lane
A resident reported their house and car “egged” by an unknown person Aug. 22. There was no other damage reported and the victims said they would update police if any permanent damage was caused by the eggs.
Theft, Trentwood Court
A resident reported the back license plate stolen from her car Aug. 18. The woman said she noticed the plate missing Aug. 17 after making several stops in Middleburg Heights and Parma. Police noted both the plate and the screws attaching it to the car had been removed.
