Suspicious condition: Jaycox Road
On July 1, a man came to the station to turn in property. He said he was walking when a car pulled up and people to him. The occupants give him a variety of jewelry and watched in three socks before driving away. The complainant took the items to a local jeweler, who told him they were fake. Items were entered into evidence for safe keeping.
Menacing: Lake Road
On July 1, officers responded to a report of an ex-boyfriend driving by a woman’s house frequently. Information was collected, and the suspect was arrested on a charge of menacing by stalking.
Drug investigation: Lake Road
A driver was arrested on a warrant for drug possession after a traffic stop on July 2. He was transported to meet with a Lorain County Sheriff’s deputy. Future charges are pending results from the drug lab.

On July 3, a business reported a garage had been forced open and an employee’s items were missing. The victim of the theft failed to show up and has not contacted this department.
Disturbance: Inwood Boulevard
A man reported a car driving past his house on July 4 with people yelling out the window. The caller got in his car and an altercation happened at Inwood Park. The man believes one of the people involved was harassing him due to current charges filed against one of the kids who were in car.
Theft: Webber Road
A woman reported her purse stolen on July 5. The window was left down on the vehicle and the purse was in plain sight.
Drunk driving: Lear Road
On July 10, a driver was arrested and charged with drunk driving after a traffic stop around 2:45 a.m.
