A Just Stop Oil activist was seen falling to the ground after a car drove through groups of protesters.
In footage posted to social media groups, orange-clad demonstrators can be seen holding signs in a demonstration on Holloway Road, north London.
In the video, a grey Renault drives next to a group of eco-activists holding a large "Just Stop Oil" sign.
In the gaggle of protesters, at least one person appears to put their hand on the car's bonnet and another appears to stand in front of the vehicle.
A car horn can be heard blaring as a man's arm is seen flailing through the air before he appears to drop to the ground.
Fellow protesters then huddle around the fallen activist as the car drives off.
In the background, someone can be heard asking: "Are you okay?"
Another person appears to suggest the vehicle "ran over" the person's foot.
The Metropolitan Police are understood to be aware of the incident.
'You owe it to your children'
In a tweet, a Just Stop Oil spokesman said: "After weeks of inflammatory language from politicians and Right-wing media personalities, a car has finally rammed into a peaceful protest."
A follow-up tweet from the group's account read: "Are you about to comment "Good!" or "Stay out of the road"? Are you sure that the side you want to pick is the side of violence, of the repression of protest?
"What we do now determines the fate of humanity. You owe it to your children to do the right thing."
According to the group, protests taking place across London on Tuesday and Wednesday were in "demand" of "an end to new oil and gas".
A statement for the group reads: "Just Stop Oil supporters are continuing to march through the streets of central London today, but say that they will stop their campaign the moment the Government halts licensing any new fossil fuel projects in the UK."
The group's infamous "slow marches" through the capital city have left Londoners frustrated.
Last week a photograph emerged appearing to show a group on Kennington Road in south London, blocking the path of an ambulance.
The Metropolitan Police were contacted for comment.
