Climb that mountain and start your journey - Lowell Sun

Once you have turned the lights on, there is nowhere to hide. During the past several months, the immense amount of fear-based dreams have not been a coincidence nor in vain. Our fears are what have kept us blind to our real selves. That which separates us from the truth had to go, and that includes the thoughts that we are not in control of. We so often surrender our ability to turn on the lights ourselves.

Dear Dream Retriever: Your interpretation of my dream last month was spot-on. So this is what I am now dreaming.

I am driving and I see a turn that leads to a mountain, and I take it. I think I planned on hiking it but have no idea why. I arrive at the bottom and park the car, which is not mine, and there is no one there, but I get out. I am walking up a path and feel as if someone or something is following me. I never see who or what it is. Suddenly, I am confronted by a bear and I turn to run but stop and take a second look, at which time the bear starts to come at me. I am startled awake. — Still confused

Dear Still Confused: Your progress is amazing, and you are doing all the right things. This dream is confirmation of that.

I know you don’t hike and laughed when I read it due to your issues with the great outdoors.

The mountain represents the journey you have been on, and you feel as though you are starting over at the bottom again. In one sense, you are. The car, which is not actually yours, is your first message. It represents the struggles you were taking on as passengers that were not yours. You are now aware that this journey is between you and you. This is a huge realization and is what you have been striving toward.

Someone or something following you is a symbol of your statement in the past of “children learn what they live” and will follow in your footsteps. They are watching to see what you do.
The ending, although abrupt, is awesome, because you start to run and then stop. Flight was always your first instinct, but that is not the case now.
