"We are looking forward to playing at home. We are just hoping the weather holds out on us so that we can get all three games in on Saturday and Sunday. We are excited to be competing against one of the best teams in our conference with their pitching and hitting," said MSU coach Samantha Jones. "The girls have prepared well for this weekend (looking) to have a sound defense, keep hitters off balance and put the ball in play hard somewhere."
The Eagles enter the weekend having dropped three straight. However, the club won its last home game and two of the previous five at University Field.
