OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. – Ever heard of an ’emotional support snake?’
Some Fort Walton Beach police officers learned first hand when they pulled someone over for a DUI on March 22.

Police did assure the public: the snake was not the one driving.

However, the Panhandle Animal Welfare Society did take the snake.

As for the owner? ABC7 has requested the report to learn more slithery details.
